Sports has been a strong focus for TicketCo since 2015 when the first elite football club choose our digital solutions. TicketCo now deliver ticketing and payment solutions for all the top clubs in Norwegian Football and has experienced strong growth in the UK with customers like Kilmarnock FC in the Scottish Premiership plus numerous other football and rugby clubs in the portfolio.

One of our important channels for growth is our ‘Partner Channel’ where we focus on partners at league level. Today TicketCo work with great League Partners including Norwegian Top Football and Ettan Football to create strong value adds for the league as well as all the clubs within the leagues. The value adds include great data insights, commercial advantages, as well as transparency between leagues and clubs.
TicketCo are now looking for Partner Key Account Managers to help grow this important area of business as digitalisation of the sports is a strong need we are seeing by customers in the market. The global sports market is facing increased demands from fans when it comes to digital solutions and today the market is struggling with fragmented payment solutions which both lead to insufficient time spent as well as limiting potential for sales. These are very exiting times with TicketCo in the perfect position for exponential growth in this market.
The ideal candidate will have sports industry experience and be used to working with enterprise sales in technology, ticketing and/or the payment area. As a key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of our sports portfolio. The TicketCo product has proven to have a significant impact on our customers’ business.
Your responsibilities will include building, managing and fulfilling a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration within the European sports market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying customer needs, working with different stakeholders in larger organisations and calculate financial and strategic impact that innovative technology has on our target customers. It is also important that you have the business experience to drive engagement with c-level management and relevant employees for cross-organisational consensus within the target audience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify new potential partnerships within the sports value chain
- Work together with Partners on league level to help the clubs utilize TicketCo
- Drive revenue and market share within sports for TicketCo
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Develop and execute against a sales plan
- Maintain a robust pipeline
- Work with other departments to help secure a good customer journey
- Manage contract negotiations
- Strong understanding of the TicketCo product range
TicketCo is digital first with extensive use of video meetings. However some travelling will be required.
